Great place to learn about a key part of American history!

Very interesting and worth seeing. The displays are very educational and unique. Nice new building, too.

Awesome place! The museum and video were great. Thank you National Parks for doing such a great job!

A must see for any history buff. A wonderful interpretive film from The History Channel. Interpretive signage is first rate, the walking paths are cushioned asphalt. Beautiful scenery. In the winter the vista is wonderful. Cowpens is very well done too. I wish there were more sites like this. Cowan's Ford battlefield doesn't even have a pull-off on the highway.

Went on a tour with one of the rangers. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the park, which was something I found very helpful. Awesome job with the paths with the improved paths. The gift shop could use something more, but the mini theater is great. Parking is great, and it will work well for large vehicles, there is a separate entry and exit in a loop. Pulling through will be a piece of cake. Tour bus (very large) made it easily.

There is a 1.5 mile trail around the battlefield that is made of recycled rubber, and easy to walk on. They have a guided tour that you dial into from the cell phone, and multiple displays around the trail. The site is well maintained and a beautiful walk.

Kings mountain is a great place to learn about this revolutionary battle, and It's only a 40 min drive from Charlotte. The staff is very knowledgeable about the battle and very helpful with what areas to see. They have good indoor exhibits that give a good description of the life, the events and the battle it's self. There is a nice display that lights up the different parts of the battlefield as the timeline is narrated.
