This place could not have been more disgusting. EVERYTHING was filthy. There were flies everywhere. We should have left from the start, but we ordered chili cheeseburgers anyway. They forgot the chili, so the cook dumped a big ladle on one burger, making a mess, so I asked for mine on the side. The chili was room temperature, so I told the waitress to check the temperature. She opened the lid and said "oh, there's no water in the warming bath"
Of all the Waffle House restaurants I've been to this one had the best grits. Employees are very nice.
I will not be back, and I only hope we don't get food poisoning from the improperly maintained chili. There was NOTHING sanitary in this restaurant, from the doors to the table to the sticky utensils, bathrooms...everything was nasty.
Also, when they brought our cokes, she spilled them as she sat them on the table, but never bothered to wipe up the mess.
Great service and food was hot and good. All this and it was extremely busy that night. Good job.
